Warner Bros has finally quenched the thirst of eager fans by releasing the first full-length trailer for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” the highly anticipated sequel to James Wan’s underwater superhero sensation. This sequel follows in the wake of the original’s success, firmly establishing itself as one of DC’s blockbuster triumphs.

Jason Momoa, reprising his role as the titular hero, Aquaman, begins the trailer with a poignant reflection on his transformation over the years. “Four years ago, I was basically unemployed, a wanderer with no home,” he declares. “But now, I’m a husband and a father. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Yet, life as the King of Atlantis overseeing a kingdom of half a billion citizens comes with its own set of challenges, as Aquaman soon discovers.

David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick penned the screenplay, with James Wan, Jason Momoa, and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett contributing to the story. The film is based on characters from DC, particularly Aquaman, created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger.
